Meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and budgeting.
Setting the targets for the sales representatives and ensuring the targets are realistic and achievable.
Devising strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets.
Mapping potential customers and generating leads for the organization. Also, generating new opportunities for the organization.
Implementing brand promotion via various activities.
Motivating team members, developing lucrative incentive schemes and introducing monetary benefits to encourage them to deliver their level best.
Appreciating whenever they do good work.
Ensuring my team is delivering desired results. Also, making sure each one is living up to the expectations of the organization. Asking them to submit a report of what all they have done through out the week or month.
Maintaining and improving relationships with the clients.
Training the sales team. This usually involves company history, product/service description, competition analysis, customer requirements, sales techniques and technology.
Building confidence of the sales team, as a confident sales team is often a successful sales team.
Reviewing sales and marketing information regularly. Also, taking the help of the sales history, sales reports, client purchase history, individual sales performance history and sales registers to keep track of sales activity and performance.
Acting as a bridge between top management in Istanbul and sales team in CIS countries.. Conveying important corporate messages to the team. For example, if the management has decided to launch a new product, it was my job to educate the team about the product and its features, its pricing and positioning.
In addition all above mentioned duties, I was also responsible for the following;
Supporting senior management in augmenting sales strategies and targets.
Implementing preconceived sales development strategies.
Managing pre-allocated budgets.
Developing new sales relationships to increase business volume.
Analyzing competent market activity and trends.
Identifying and exploiting business opportunities.
Bringing in new customers while retaining existing ones.
Studying the market to provide focused, well-researched forecasts that will support the company's business planning.
Monitoring overall customer satisfaction.
Sustaining communication with the all main clients on a regular basis.
Monitoring the performance of the whole team.
Aiding the top management in developing the latest policies, operations and procedures.
Having direct responsibility for achieving regional goals and revenue. Also, having responsibility for the regional loss and profit.
Recruiting the right kind of people to work for the employers and also seeing it that hiring methods are kept to the standards.
